Pogetti built a renowned professional career as an executive in the financial industry, and currently occupies the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the following companies: Copersucar S.A., Eco-Energy Global Biofuels, LLC., Alvean Sugar Intermediação e Agenciamento Ltda., the Sugarcane, Sugar and Ethanol Producers Cooperative of the São Paulo State, and CTC – Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira S.A. Also noteworthy was his position as a Member of the Advisory Board of Sugarcane Agroindustry Association of São Paulo (ÚNICA) in February 2015; Member of the Board of Directors of Lógum Logística S.A, of the Brazilian Sincrotron Light Technology Association (ABTLus), and Member of the International Advisory Board of Dom Cabral Foundation (FDC).

With over 25-year professional experience in the administrative, financial, and production process areas of the sugar-energy sector, Mr Mizutani began his career at Cosan, one of the largest private conglomerates in Brazil, as a Planning Supervisor. In 2009, he took the position of CEO for the Sugar, Alcohol and Energy Segment of Cosan, as well as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cosan. Currently, Mr Mizutani is the Executive VP for External Relations & Strategy at Raizen Energia S.A, formed by a joint-venture between Shell and Cosan in 2011.

Agricultural Director of bp bioenergy. With over 25 years of experience in the sugar-energy sector, he has built a solid career in companies such as Bunge and Jalles Machado, leading areas of planning, research, and agricultural operations. At Bunge, he played a strategic role in transforming the agricultural area, serving as Agricultural Director (since 2015) and Agricultural Planning Manager (2013-2015), with strong contributions to the improvement of operational and management processes.

Mr Lorencatto became CEO of Usina Coruripe in February 2018. Formerly, he acted as CEO for South America of the Lonza Group AG, and held executive positions in agribusiness-related companies – El Tejar Ltd Argentina e Zilor – and abroad, at both Philip Morris/Kraft Foods and Caterpillar. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from FEA/USP, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University – School of Management, USA.

Executive with 20 years of experience in Brazil’s oil and gas industry, specialized in financial management, tax affairs, and regulatory compliance. Led the partnerships area and exploration and production processes, integrating all E&P processes. Served as advisor to Petrobras’ CEO, contributing significantly to building the regulatory framework for the oil and gas sector. Led high-level negotiations with private and public stakeholders. Also led the diversity agenda at Petrobras, where she implemented a pioneering mentorship program for women and established initiatives to promote inclusion and belonging for women in operational environments.

Mr. Venturelli holds an undergraduate degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (1988), an MBA from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA/FEA) (1991) and INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France (2000). He has amassed over 25 years of experience in the fields of corporate management, global business management and commercial management in the chemicals and plastics industry, acting in both national and international companies. His career began at Dow Chemical, during the 1989-2007 period, where he held positions both in Brazil and in the USA, among which the functions of Global Business Officer and Corporate Strategic Development Officer. At present, Fábio Venturelli occupies the position of Chief Executive Officer at the São Martinho Group (comprising São Martinho S.A, São Martinho Energia S.A, Companhia Bioenergética Santa Cruz 1, São Martinho Logística e Participações S.A, Vale do Piracicaba S.A., Nova Fronteira Bioenergia S.A., Usina Boa Vista S.A. e SMBJ Agroindustrial S.A.), one of the largest producers of sugar and ethanol in Brazil. Mr Venturelli also acts as CEO and Officer of Nova Fronteira Bioenergia SA., a joint venture between São Martinho with Petrobras Biocombustível S.A., which aims at expanding the ethanol output in the Center-West region, through the companies Usina Boa Vista S.A and SMBJ Agroindustrial S.A. Mr. Venturelli also has a seat on the Board of SMA Indústria Química S.A (São Martinho & Amyris), of Vale Do Mogi Empreendimentos Imobiliários S.A (wholly-owned subsidiary of the São Martinho Group), of Nova Fronteira Bioenergia S.A and of CTC Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira S.A.

Throughout his over 25-year executive career, Mr Santoul has taken important executive positions in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Retail, Operations and Strategic Development, in companies such as Goodyear, McKinsey & Company, Electrolux and Technicolor. He holds a degree from the HEC School of Management, Paris. Currently, he has acted as CEO at Tereos Açúcar e Energia Brasil since early 2015, one of the leading companies operating in the sugar-energy industry in Brazil, the world’s third largest producer of sugar, as well as with a remarkable presence in the food industry, and the supply of sugar, Tereos produces ethanol and electric energy, on a large scale, stemming from the co-generation from sugar cane bagasse.

Mr Wongtschowski holds a doctorate, a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Escola Politécnica of the São Paulo University. He developed his professional career at the holding company Ultrapar Participações S.A, acting as CEO from 2007 to 2012; at Oxiteno S.A, as Managing Director, from 1992 to 2006; and formerly at Promon Engenharia. Mr Wongtschowski has been a Research Associate for the Technological Management Policy Center of the São Paulo University since 2012. He also acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of EMBRAPII and of the Member of the Senior Board of ANPEI – Brazilian Association of Research, Development and Engineering of Innovative Companies. He also acts as President of the Industrial Development Studies Institute (IEDI), as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the companies held by Ultrapar Participações S.A, as a Member of the Board of Directors of Votorantim S.A and Embraer S.A, as an Independent Member of the Board of CTC – Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira S.A.

Mr. Barros is an entrepreneurial leader who has built a successful career in the agribusiness sector over the last 20 years. Among his key strengths is his ability to drive sustainable clientoriented growth by overcoming complexities, capturing opportunities, building competitiveness, and developing and implementing winning strategies. In his last position, he served as Vice President of LATAM Commercial Operations at Nutrien Soluções Agrícolas, having also held executive roles at large companies such as Bayer, Monsanto, and Agrichem. He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ) and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, in the United States.

Mr Janeiro holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas – Unicamp (1990), and completed the Specialization Course in Industrial Quality Engineering in 1992, also from Unicamp; and an MBA in Business Management in 2010 from Fundação Dom Cabral. With a successful career, he held positions of succeeding importance at the Rhodia Group, where he started as Assistant Production Engineer at Rhodiaco Chemical Ind.; thereafter, he acted as an Assured Quality Advisor at Rhodia Brazil; Process Engineer at Rhodia Asia Pacific; Production Engineer at Rhodia Silices, Process Coordinator at Rhodia Brazil, Industrial Coordinator at Rhodia Silices from 2000 to 2001; Asset Manager at Rhodia Silica Systems America Latina; Senior Commercial Export Manager at Rhodia; IRO at Rhodia Operations; Business Director at Rhodia/Solvay; and Senior Vice President at Rhodia/Solvay. He has been the Cellulosic Ethanol Business Officer for CTC – Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira S.A since December 2014.

Before joining CTC, Paulo held the position of CFO at Kepler Weber SA since 2020, in addition to having important stints in leadership positions at WEG, Cosan Group and Fibria. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated skills in leading financial teams, managing strategic investments and ensuring the sustainability and high standards of governance of organizations. He has a degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and an MBA in Corporate Finance from FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração and in Business Management from BSP – Business School São Paulo.

Mr. Kishore has a remarkable background of achievements in the biotechnology area. After receiving a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, he received post-doctorate training in chemistry and biology, also served as Robert A. Welch Fellow at the University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Kishore joined Monsanto Company as a Senior Research biochemist in charge of developing processes for Aspartame synthesis. Thereafter, he headed the development of Roundup Ready technology and agricultural technologies and biotechnology for Monsanto Company. Dr. Kishore was nominated Science Distinguished Fellow, the highest honor conferred to scientists who made relevant contributions for the company, but also in Sciences, and Assistant Chief Scientist of the company. Mr. Kishore won the Queeny Award given by Monsanto Company in recognition of his contribution to developing the Roundup Ready technology. Besides his contributions, as head of Sciences Plant Research in Monsanto, his team developed and sold most of the agribiotech products currently traded in the market. Dr. Kishore played an essential role in the transformation of a chemical product company into a life sciences company and conducted various investments in genomic technologies inside the company. Dr. Kishore retired from Monsanto, after serving as chief executive officer of its nutrition and consumer products division. He left DuPont in 2007 to join Burrill & Company. Currently, Dr. Kishore is MLSCF CEO and a board member of Gevo.

Currently BP bioscience head, Mr. John William Pierce Junior was vice-president of Research and Development and Applied Biosciences at DuPont, and a founding member of the Society of Biological Engineering, Global Agenda Council for Emerging Technologies of the World Economic Forum and the World Council on Industrial Biotechnology. He is also a member of the board of directors of BioEnergy Science Center, Oak Ridge, and the Scientific Advisory Board of the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center – biofuel research consortia supported by the US Department of Energy.

Mr. Montegu was professor and director at the Genetics Laboratory of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Ghent (Belgium) and scientific director at the Genetics Department of the Flandres Interuniversity Institute for Biotechnology (VIB). Mr. Montegu is chairman of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) and Public Research and Regulation Initiative (PRRI).

Mr. Patrick S. Schnable has experience in the areas of genetics, molecular biology, genome, and bio-informatics, he also collaborates with researchers in various fields, including agricultural and computing engineering, plant breeding, and statistics. Mr. Schnable is a member elected by the American Association for the Advance of Science, he is an associate editor of PLoS Genetics, president of the American Society of Plant Biology’s Science Policy Committee, and former president of the Maize Genetics Executive Committee. Mr. Schnable holds a degree from Cornell University and received a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Iowa State University; thereafter, he completed post-doctorate research in the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research, in Köln, Germany. Currently, Mr. Schnable is a professor at ChangJiang Scholar at China Agricultural University, Beijing, and at the Iowa State University, where he is director of the ISU Plant Sciences Institute and ISU Center of plant genome.

Mr. Sandro Lima has a bachelor’s degree in (i) Accounting from the School of Economics, Business Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo at the Ribeirão Preto Campus – FEA/USP; and (ii) Agricultural Engineering from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture of the University of São Paulo at the Piracicaba Campus – ESALQ/USP. He also has a master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Moreover, he completed the Advanced Politics and Strategy Studies Program – CAEPE at Escola Superior de Guerra (ESG), and the Socioeconomic Development Program at the Institute of Economics of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, both in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. He was also an Analyst at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), with experience in investment project analysis and monitoring.

Was CEO of CTC – Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira from 2011 to 2013, when he retired. He was also the CEO of Monsanto do Brasil, Monsanto Canada, Sociedade Israelita Albert Einstein, and Avanti Gestão de Recursos Financeiros, in addition to holding positions with increasing responsibility at Philip Morris and at Michelin, in Germany, the United States, Canada and Brazil.
