    Foundation of Centro de Tecnologia Copersucar (Copersucar Technology Center), to serve as a research unit to the cooperative-member sugar and ethanol mills, with a focus on the sugarcane genetic improvement.
  • 2000
    Leadership in the genome sequencing process of sugarcane.
  • 2004
    Formation of CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira, a nonprofit research institution.
  • 2011
    CTC becomes a share-capital Corporation, held by 154 shareholders, among which are the major players in the industry.
  • 2012
    First generation of revenue through the collection of royalties.
  • 2014
    BNDES Participações S.A. – BNDESPAR (wholly-owned subsidiary of the Brazilian Development Bank) becomes one of the Company's shareholders.
  • 2016
    Registration with CVM (the Brazilian Securities Commission) and listing of the Company's shares on the Bovespa Mais segment of the Brazilian Stock Exchange, which does not include trading of its stock.
